My name is Shelby and I'm a seventeen year old
senior in high school. Growing up with extremely curly hair, it was always a
challenge for me to do my hair. I always thought my hair was too frizzy, too
volumized, and too messy. I could never seem to find a good hair product, or
good hairstyle that worked to tame my crazy hair. I would often get frustrated,
and there were even times when I would just want to chop all of my hair off. I
held out though, and I've had long hair for as long as I can remember. Throughout
the years, my hair has changed from being ringlets, to waves, to almost
completely straight hair now, and I have had to struggle with my hair through
all of these changes. Even though it was a pain to get to where I am, I'm glad
I kept my hair as long as I did, and was able to experiment with different
hairstyles. Now I'll be able to help you find the right hairstyles that work on
you.
My friend from school, Megan, and
I have decided to combine our love for makeup and hair, and create a makeover
blog. As a part of this, we will be posting tutorials on different makeup
looks, as well as hairstyles. This isn’t going to be your typical tutorial
though. Instead of Megan and I doing the makeover on each other, we are going
to be doing it on different students in our high school. Students have signed
up for this, and they had the chance to let us know if they wanted anything
done specifically. We will be showing you a step-by-step process as to how we
apply the makeup, as well as the steps required to get the desired hairstyle.
